Emma, seven months pregnant, was sitting in the passenger seat of a new black car, a gift her husband, Ryan, had just bought to celebrate his “success.” But this moment of pride turned into a devastating conflict.
“This car cost me nearly fifty thousand dollars,” Ryan announced, smiling broadly. “It proves my success.”

Emma stood frozen, tears in her eyes, as Ryan, in a fit of rage, unlocked the door and pushed her out.

She didnāt know yet exactly what she would do, but one thing was clear: she would not stay there, a victim of such cruelty.
