“What the hell are you doing!” the girl shouted across the entire cafeteria when the boy, beside himself, threw a tray full of food at her. 😱😱😱
The scream tore through the cafeteria, abruptly stopping conversations and drawing all eyes. Within seconds, the usual buzz gave way to a palpable tension.
At the center of the scene, a boy stood frozen, an empty tray trembling in his hands. For a moment, no one really understood what had just happened. Then the reactions erupted: shocked whispers, a few nervous laughs, and above all, phones rising to record. As always, someone was filming.
The boy seemed on the verge of collapsing. His breathing was irregular, his hands were shaking, but when he spoke, his voice, though fragile at first, gradually grew steadier.
“You said… that no one would ever notice me…”
A heavy silence fell immediately. Facing him, the girl, still covered in food, wiped her face in annoyance. The surprise disappeared, replaced by cold anger.
“Because you are nobody!” she snapped.
Around them, the tension rose. Glances crossed, whispers spread. Someone murmured a “wow,” reflecting the general discomfort.
But something had shifted. The boy took a step forward. This time, he wasn’t trembling anymore. His sudden calm sharply contrasted with the scene.
“…but today, you noticed me.”
The girl froze. Her confidence faltered. In the background, a teacher turned around, but he was too far away.
The boy didn’t look away. Slowly, he reached into his bag. The silence became absolute.
“…what are you doing…?” the girl asked, worried.
Everyone held their breath. He pulled out an object😱… What he took out of his pocket shocked everyone.

He slowly opened his hand.
Inside, it was neither a weapon, nor evidence, nor a compromising document… but a small black velvet box.
A shiver ran through the cafeteria. The boy took a deep breath, as if he had just made a decision he had been putting off for a long time.
“In reality…” he said softly, “none of this was supposed to happen like this.”
He lifted his eyes to the girl, this time without anger, without trembling.
“I didn’t want to scare you. I just wanted… you to finally notice me.”
A strange silence settled in. He opened the box. Inside, a simple, thin ring, shining under the cafeteria’s neon lights. A few students exchanged surprised looks.
“For a long time… I’ve loved you. But you never saw me. Not even once. So I thought… if I became someone in your eyes, even by mistake… maybe you would finally look at me.”
The girl remained frozen. Her expression changed, from anger to confusion. The boy added, in a lower voice:
“Even if it’s like this… even if it’s in the middle of chaos… at least today, you truly looked at me.”
