As every weekend, I went shopping, carefully choosing my products. A simple piece of meat fillet: fresh, odorless, with perfect color. I placed it on the board, turned on the light, and was about to prepare dinner when suddenly a small dark spot caught my attention.😱😱
At first, I thought it was just a shadow or a bit of dirt, but when I touched it and the spot didn’t disappear, a chill of concern ran through me.
Under the light of the lamp, the spot seemed almost… alive, as if it was anchored inside the meat itself. Determined to understand, I took a knife. It slid easily, but at the spot, the knife seemed to hit something hard.
When I turned the piece, I discovered that the dark spot had become deeper, denser.
And then, the horror began. Before my eyes, the spot turned into a deep BLACK, almost threatening. Then, a second spot appeared. And a third. It was as if something, hidden in the fibers of the meat, was trying to break free, to reveal itself. 🫣
I tried to get rid of the piece, but one detail chilled me to the bone…😱
Afterward, when I found out what it was, I was shocked. 😱😱😱 Fortunately, I was vigilant and managed to avoid this danger. Be careful, to avoid these problems and risks, and never eat such meat.

I no longer dared to touch the meat, but curiosity pushed me to find out more. I had never seen anything like it.
I took a deep breath and, trembling, I turned the piece over once again. The black spot continued to multiply, but it was no longer just mold. It was as if the meat was deforming, rotting before my eyes.
I took it once more, and as I sliced, a terrifying scene revealed itself. A small black larva, almost translucent, slipped out of the flesh. Then a second, then a third, until a real swarm of worms came to invade the wooden board.
Under the light of the lamp, I saw the worst. These were not ordinary worms. They had translucent wings.
Meat flies. But what froze me was that these insects were not just emerging from the meat. They had laid eggs in the meat itself, and inside, hundreds of eggs in gestation were getting ready to hatch.
The piece of meat was not just decomposing. It was the starting point of an infestation. A progressive contamination.
It took me a few moments to realize: the meat may have been “fresh” on the outside, but in reality, it was already sick on the inside, infested from the moment of purchase.
